Saint Trofee performs research and product development in refrigeration and heat pumps since 2008. Because much of our work is international, we are a member of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIF/IIR , Paris). We are also member of the Royal Dutch Refrigeration Association (KNVvK).
Mission
Refrigeration accounts for 17% of worldwide electricity consumption [IIR]. So, it plays an important role in the challenge to reduce global warming. Not only by reducing energy consumpton. But also by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Conventional working fluids inside refrigeration systems are powerful greenhouse gases. We aim to develop systems without these gases, and with lower electricity consumption. But most of all, we develop refrigeration and heat pump systems that are profitable.
